10. AGREEMENT WITH U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION FOR THE DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION TASK FORCE FY2016 Approve the Task Force Agreement and acceptance any available reimbursement funding up to $17,548.00 from the US Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration. The term of this agreement is October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016. Authorize the Chairman to sign all documents related to these grant funds, as applicable. The grant allows a 0% rate for indirect costs, or $0 which may be incurred by the County Attorney's Office or Maricopa County for the administration of this grant. The Maricopa County Department of Finance has calculated the County Attorney's Office's composite indirect cost rate at 13%, or $2,281.00. The recoverable indirect cost of administering this grant is $0; the non-recoverable indirect cost is $2,281.00. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. Approval of this agreement allows for reimbursement of overtime paid to the detective assigned to the DEA Task Force. The purpose of the agreement is to enhance disruption of the illicit drug traffic in Maricopa County and the State of Arizona by immobilizing targeted trafficking violators and organizations. The County Attorney has cooperated with the DEA since 1998. (C-19-16-008-G-00)
