These grant funds will support the direct costs of implementing victims’ rights laws pursuant to Arizona Revised Statues Title 13, Chapter 40 and Title 8, Chapter 3, Article 7, that impact prosecutorial agencies as an entity type. This agreement commenced, retroactively, July 1, 2016 and terminates on June 30, 2017. Grant revenues are not "local revenues" for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law.
