10. APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL DEPUTY AND OATH OF OFFICE Pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-409, approve the official appointment of James A Eaves as Special Deputy County Attorney of the Maricopa County Attorney effective October 17, 2016 and authorize the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to certify the Official Appointment and Oath of Office in accordance with A. R. S. § 38-231. The County Attorney is an Officer of the County, as enumerated in A.R.S. § 11-401, and pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-409, such an enumerated County Officer may appoint deputies and assistants with the consent of the Board of Supervisors. Further, such appointments shall be in writing and certified by the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. (C-19-17-034-M-00)
