13. AGREEMENT WITH US DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION FOR THE DEA TASK FORCE Approve the State and Local HIDTA Task Force Agreement between the Drug Enforcement Administration and Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. The term of this agreement is October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020. Authorize the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, or designee, to sign all documents related to this agreement. Acceptance of this agreement allows for continued assignment of one Maricopa County Attorney’s Office detective to the DEA Phoenix Task Force. The purpose of the agreement is to enhance disruption of the illicit drug traffic in Maricopa County and the State of Arizona by immobilizing targeted trafficking violators and organizations. The County Attorney has cooperated with the DEA since 1998. (C-19-20-008-M-00)
