MOUS AND MOU AMENDMENTS FOR MARICOPA COUNTY ATTORNEY’S OFFICE SEXUAL ASSAULT KIT INITIATIVE GRANT PROGRAMS Approve MOUs, MOU Amendments and Authorize Maricopa County Attorney’s Office Authority to enter into MOU’s with Multi-Disciplinary Team in relation to the National Sexual Assault Kit Initiative and Sexual Assault Kit Backlog Reduction Grant Programs. MOU’s and MOU Amendments are with the following agencies who are a part of the Sexual Assault Kit Backlog Reduction Grant Programs Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). • Arizona State University • The City of Buckeye • The City of Avondale • The City of El Mirage • State Of Arizona Department Of Public Safety • The Town of Gilbert • The City of Glendale • The City of Goodyear • The City of Mesa • They City of Peoria • Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office • They City of Tolleson • They City of Surprise These MOUs outline expectations between MCAO and MDT members in relation to the National Sexual Assault Kit Initiative and Sexual Assault Kit Backlog Reduction Grant Programs requirements. The MOU Extensions are extending the term to align with the extended term of the grant programs. (C-19-22-186-X-00)

14. REVISED MOU AMENDMENT WITH ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY FOR MARICOPA COUNTY ATTORNEY’S OFFICE SEXUAL ASSAULT KIT INITIATIVE GRANT PROGRAMS Approve revised Amendment to MOU for Arizona State University. This Amendment was previously approved by the Board on October 20, 2021. Updated language corrects the first page of the attached document to include minor language changes. 1) Updates title of document to start with "Amendment to..." 2) Updates the first sentence 2nd word to "amendment" from "agreement" 3) Updates "2. Section 2.4 is amended" to "2. Section 2.4 of the MOU is amended" 4) Updates date referenced in #3's second sentence from "June 3, 2017" to "January 3, 2017" 5) Updates "This amendment to extend the MOU is hereby..." to "This amendment is hereby...." 6) Updates "SIGNATURES FOR THIS AGREEMENT" to "SIGNATURES FOR THIS AMENDMENT" (C-19-22-186-X-01)
