23. TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS TO AMEND THE DEPARTMENT/FUND/FUNCTION COMBINATION INDICATED Approve Technical Corrections to amend the Department/Fund/Function combination indicated on the following previously approved agenda items from Appropriated Fund Balance (480) General Fund (100) Function (none listed) to Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) Function 0001. This correction does not change the direction or intent of the previous actions:(C-20-08-068-3-00) (C-20-08-069-3-00) Also, for the items listed above, if awarded, pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17106(B), approve adjustments in the amount of the actual award to the appropriated revenue and expenditure budget for the Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) Function (0001). Indirect costs are not applicable to Tribal Gaming Grants. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the law. This adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. Starting in FY 2008-09, Appropriated Fund Balance (480) is no longer in use and was replaced by the Non Departmental (470) Function 0001. The agenda items listed above were submitted in the prior fiscal year, prior to the change, and therefore require a change to the Department and Function to be properly budgeted and accounted for. 21. ACCEPT FUNDING FROM GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMUNITY FOR ARIZONA METH PROJECT 1) Approve an administrative correction to item C-20-08-068-3-00 to include the following: If funds are awarded in FY 2009-2010 and FY 2010-2011, pursuant to A.R.S. 42-171(b), approve increases to the County Manager (200) Non-Departmental Grant Fund (249), Non-Recurring Non Project (0001) appropriated revenue and expenditure budget in the amount of the award, not exceeding $100,000 per year. 2) Approve a Contract between the Arizona Meth Project Inc. (Employer Identification Number 26-3584528) and Maricopa County in the amount of $100,000. The purpose of this Contract is to provide funding, received by Maricopa County from the Gila River Indian Community, to the Arizona Meth Project Inc. for the purpose of media and outreach efforts. This Contract is effective from date of Board approval until June 30, 2010. On June 18, 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved a resolution to apply for and accept Indian Gaming Funds from the Gila River Indian Community for the Arizona Meth Project (C-20-08-068-03-00). This correction allows for the budget to be adjusted for these funds. (C-20-08-068-3-01)

22. AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH ARIZONA METH PROJECT INC. Approve Amendment No. 1 to extend the Contract (C-20-08-068-3-01) between the Arizona Meth Project Inc. (Employer Identification Number 26-3584528) and Maricopa County. The purpose of this Contract is to provide funding, received by Maricopa County from the Gila River Indian Community, to the Arizona Meth Project Inc. for the purpose of media and outreach efforts. The original Contract term expires June 30, 2010. This action will extend the term of the agreement to December 31, 2010. AZ Meth Project Inc does not anticipate spending the entire $100,000 by June 30, 2010. The $100,000 was originally received by Maricopa County from the Gila River Indian Community through 12% gaming funds. The Gila River Indian Community approved the transfer of the funding to the AZ Meth Project Inc. for continuing advertising and outreach. (C-20-08-068-3-02)
