23. NONPROFIT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT - GREATER PHOENIX CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU Approve a Contract between Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department, in the not-to-exceed amount of $250,000. The purpose of this Contract is to provide FY 2010-11 nonprofit economic development funding to the Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau for purposes to include attracting conventions, conferences and meetings; marketing and communications; the promotion of leisure travel; and other related activities. This Contract is effective from July 1, 2010 until June 30, 2011. (C-20-11-006-3-00)
