A-7. APPLY AND ACCEPT TRIBAL GAMING FUNDS FROM SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY Authorize the application and acceptance of funds from the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) for the five non-profit programs: Arizona Diamondbacks (RBI Baseball, $50,000) Arizona Diamondbacks (Dream Center, $100,000) Heard Museum ($75,000) Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ($100,000) Lodestar Day Resource Center ($95,000) These funds are for government services that benefit the general public, including public safety, mitigation of the impacts of gaming, or promotion of commerce and economic development. The total amount of funds requested will not exceed $420,000 for FY 2011-12. Authorize the Chairman to sign all acceptance documents, which may also include an IGA. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. Indirect costs are not applicable to Tribal Gaming Grants.
