23. RESOLUTION TO APPLY FOR AND ACCEPT, IF AWARDED, TRIBAL GAMING FUNDS FROM THE GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMUNITY ON BEHALF OF THE GIRL SCOUTS – ARIZONA CACTUS-PINE COUNCIL GIRLS’ EMPOWERMENT, INCLUSION AND EDUCATION PROGRAM Pursuant to A.R.S. 5-601.02, authorize by resolution the application and, if awarded, the acceptance and pass-through of a Tribal Gaming Grant from the Gila River Indian Community for the Girls Scouts – Arizona Cactus-Pine Council Girls’ EmpowermenT, Inclusion, and education (GET IN!) program in the not-to-exceed amount of $85,000. Also, authorize the execution of all documents related to this grant which may include an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA), Grant-in-Aid Agreement, or similar documents. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. (C-20-12-079-M-00)
