44. ONE TIME CONTINGENCY REQUEST FOR SALARY SAVINGS ADJUSTMENT In accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), authorize the following amendment to the FY 2014 budget: a) Decrease the expenditure authority for the Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) Other Programs (4712) in the line "Elected Official and Judicial Branch Unmet Personnel Savings from Chairman's Budget Balancing Adjustment " by an amount not-to-exceed $28,442; b) Increase the expenditure authority in the Constables' (250) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) by an amount not-to-exceed $28,442. These actions will have a county-wide net impact of zero, and they do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. Approval of this action will allow the Constables to meet their FY 2014 budget as adjusted for reduced vacancy savings which were not realized. Improved market and retention pay increases have provided for lower than budgeted vacancy savings. These funds were set aside for this purpose in the FY 2014 Non Recurring budget. (C-20-14-043-M-00)
