EMPLOYEE AWARDS FROM THE REWARDING IDEAS PROGRAM Authorize and approve the following employees with awards from the Rewarding Ideas Program: Thomas Dubishar, $1,250 and Robert Dyer, $1,250, Air Quality Department: Upon learning the new mandated particulate matter (PM-10) units were not compatible with the existing air quality monitoring shelters, Mr. Dubishar and Mr. Dyer proactively re-engineered and then fabricated changes to the existing shelters. Through their initiative and ingenuity, purchasing new monitoring shelters became unnecessary. The action by these staff members resulted in savings of over $12,600 per unit. (C-20-17-021-M-00)
