28. AMENDMENT TO CAMPAIGN AND FISCAL SPONSOR AGREEMENT WITH VALLEY OF THE SUN UNITED WAY Approve Amendment No. 5 to the Campaign Services and Fiscal Sponsor Agreement between Valley of the Sun United Way (VSUW) and Maricopa County through the County Administration. As the fiscal sponsor, VSUW provides services for the annual Combined Charitable Campaign and the Employee s Assisting and Supporting Employees (E.A.S.E.) fund. The VSUW Employee Assistance Fund Guidelines (Exhibit A) have been amended to reflect procedural changes implemented as a result of COVID-19, namely that checks will be mailed directly to vendors listed on approved application and that the County shall direct if checks should be sent more expeditiously than regular mail (i.e., via overnight courier). This authorization provides a one-year extension of the Agreement, retroactive from June 1, 2022 through May 31, 2023. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
