14. RESOLUTION DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE COUNTY MANAGER Approve the resolution to delegate authority to the County Manager to appoint and manage County Officers including County Engineer, Public Defender, Medical Examiner and Public Fiduciary. The Arizona Legislature has adopted statutes which allows the Board of Supervisors to appoint a County Engineer (A.R.S. 11-561), Public Defender (A.R.S. 11-581), Medical Examiner (A.R.S. 11-592), and Public Fiduciary.
