13. BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR EARLY VOTING & ELECTION PROCESSING In accordance with A.R.S.42-17106(B), approve a revenue and expenditure appropriation adjustment increasing the FY 2009-10 Elections Department (210) General Fund (100) Operating (0000) expenditures in the amount of $4,700,000. This action is required to accommodate the increased cost of early balloting and special State Sales Tax election. Reimbursements from the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-21-10-005-2-00)
