7. SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS Approve a five-year sole source contract with Dominion Voting Systems to support and maintain the ballot scanning equipment/tabulation software used by the Elections Department to conduct elections in Maricopa County. Total contract expenditures will not exceed $5.8 million over the contract term. The Elections Department requests approval of a five-year sole source contract with Dominion Voting Systems to support and maintain ballot scanning equipment and elections system software currently used by Maricopa County. Dominion Voting Systems recently acquired Sequoia Voting Systems who was the prior sole source contractor that supported and maintained the ballot scanning equipment and software. Approval of the contract will extend the useful life of the ballot scanning and tabulation software owned and used by Maricopa County for an additional five years. (C-21-11-003-3-00)
