11. BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR ELECTRONIC POLL BOOKS In accordance with A.R.S. §42-17106(B), authorize the following transfer of expenditure authority in the FY 2017 expenditure budget: a) Decrease the expenditure authority for the Non Departmental (D470) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (1001) in the line unreserved contingency (4711) budget by $250,000; b) Increase the expenditure authority in the Elections Department (D210) General Fund (100) Primary General Election Cycle Spending (ELE1) budget by $250,000 for one-time expenditures; These actions will have a County-wide net impact of zero and they do not alter the budget constraining expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. Approval of this action allows the Elections Department to purchase 100 additional tablet devices and related peripherals under the existing requirements contract with Robis Elections Inc. (Serial 13-29 RFP) and to implement the more user friendly and economical electronic poll books at polling locations. (C-21-17-002-2-00)
