ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW VOTING PRECINCTS AND PRECINCT BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENETS Pursuant to A.R.S. 16-411, approve establishment of new voting precincts and new precinct boundaries as shown on the maps on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and accompanying legal descriptions, incorporated herein by reference. This action of the Board of Supervisors shall become effective on March 17, 2022 for the 2022 elections. State law requires the County Board of Supervisors to establish and set the boundaries of voting precincts within election districts prescribed by law for elected officers of the state and its political subdivisions. On January 24, 2022, the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission certified new boundaries for Arizona’s Congressional and Legislative districts. The certified changes to the Legislative and Congressional district lines require the County to adjust voting precinct boundaries. The attached maps and exhibits provide further details.
