1. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS REDISTRICTING PRESENTATION AND PUBLIC COMMENT MEETING Pursuant to A.R.S § 11-212, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors is redistricting. Due to the Census delay, lawmakers passed SB1107, which extended the deadline to approve district changes to July 1, 2022. Because Supervisor District lines match Special Health Care and Community College Districts, changes made to Supervisor boundaries will be the same for these two special districts. On June 9, 2022 the County published five variations of the new boundaries and is seeking public comment. This public meeting is to discuss the 5 maps and present the methodology for how the maps were developed. The public is invited to provide public comment at the board meeting or through the redistricting website: https://www.maricopa.gov/5820/Decennial-Redistricting.
