47. APPOINTMENTS OF 2026 JULY PRIMARY ELECTION BOARDS In accordance with state law (A.R.S. §16-531), approve the appointment of election boards and central boards necessary to conduct the July 21, 2026, Primary Election. The board worker appointments are made by the Director of the Elections Department overseeing emergency and election day voting, election services, warehouse operations, candidate filing, and tabulation. Appointments are on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and retained in accordance with LAPR approved retention schedule. This action also authorizes the Elections Director to pay election boards compensation wages and communications expenses. This board action also authorizes the Elections Director to hire additional election boards and central board positions that are not yet filled and/or replace election boards and central boards appointees if the originally appointed board member is unable to work.
