38. APPOINTMENT TO THE EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER NATIONAL BOARD PROGRAM Approve the appointment of Margarita Leyvas, Assistant Director of the Maricopa County Human Services Department, Community Services Division as the Maricopa County representative on the Emergency Food and Shelter Local Board (EFSP). Ms. Leyvas will serve a one-year term or for the duration of Phase 27 (EFSP program year). The term of appointment will be effective as of the date of Board approval through October 31, 2009 or until the current Phase is officially ended at which time a new Board will be seated.
