101. AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE CORRECTIONS FOR EARLY HEAD START SERVICES IN THE BLACK CANYON SCHOOL Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement between Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC) on behalf of the Black Canyon School (BCS) (#J09014001) and Maricopa County through the its Human Services Department. The purpose of this amendment is to continue providing Early Head Start services to low-income pregnant female youths and parenting teens incarcerated in the BCS. As specified in the “Terms and Conditions, Section 11. Contract Extension” of Agreement No. C-22-09-128-3-00, this Agreement may be extended by a written contract amendment for five twelve-month periods. This is the first of up to five amendments and extends the contract for the period of twelve-months effective July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. This is a non-financial contract. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect. (C-22-09-128-3-01)

AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE CORRECTIONS Approve Amendment No. 2 to the Intergovernmental Agreement with Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (C-22-09-128-3-02) for Early Head Start classroom space located at the Black Canyon School, 24601 N. 29th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85027. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the term of the Agreement for one year, beginning July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. There is no financial impact with this Agreement. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement remain the same and in full force and effect. (C-22-09-128-3-02)

AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE CORRECTIONS Approve Amendment No. 3 to the Intergovernmental Agreement with Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (C-22-09-128-3-03) for Early Head Start classroom space located at the Black Canyon School, 24601 N. 29th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85027. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the term of the Agreement for one year, beginning July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. There is no financial impact with this Agreement. The amendment changes the audit of records to agree with recent records retention changes at the state level and adds the debarment language required in all contracts. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement remain the same and in full force and effect. (C-22-09-128-3-03)

AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE CORRECTIONS Approve Amendment No. 4 to an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (C-22-09-128-3-00) for Early Head Start classroom space located at the Black Canyon School, 24601 N. 29th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85027. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the term of the Agreement for one year, beginning July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, and to update language concerning the Intergovernmental Agreement Determination by the Attorney General. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement and amendments remain the same and in full force and effect. There is no financial impact with this Agreement. (C-22-09-128-3-04)
