A-2. AGREEMENT WITH MAXIMUS FOR SPECIAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES WORK LINKS Approve subcontractor agreement between MAXIMUS and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department (HSD), for the provision of Special Transportation Services (STS) Worklinks program. The agreement is effective from October 1, 2008 until September 30, 2009. The purpose of this subcontractor agreement is for the provision of reimbursement for services provided to MAXIMUS participants as described in Exhibit 1 - Statement of Work for the amount not-to-exceed $200,000. The transportation service will be provided to MAXIMUS participants who lack adequate transportation and are employed or preparing for employment via MAXIMUS assigned work-preparation activities. HSD's FY 2008-09 indirect rate is 15.2%. Indirect expenses are fully recoverable and are estimated at $30,400. (C-22-09-138-3-00)

53. TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT WITH MAXIMUS INC. FOR SPECIAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES WORKLINKS Approve the termination of the Agreement between MAXIMUS Inc. and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department (MCHSD). Pursuant to the General Terms and Conditions outlined in Provision 6.c.ii., Termination by MAXIMUS; Immediate Termination: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, MAXIMUS may terminate this Agreement immediately and without prior notice if (ii) the Client (state of Arizona) directs MAXIMUS to terminate the Subcontractor's services under this agreement. According to the Agreement's termination provision, wherein proper written notification was given, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors accepts April 22, 2009 as the termination date for the Agreement with MAXIMUS. MCHSD is in receipt of the notice by MAXIMUS Inc. to withdraw from this Agreement. (C-22-09-138-3-02)
