52. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH BUCKEYE OUTREACH FOR SOCIAL SERVICES Approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Buckeye Outreach for Social Services (BOSS) and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department to establish BOSS as an Access Point. This MOU is non-financial and is effective upon signature by both parties and will expire June 30, 2011. An Access Point is defined as a faith-based or community based organization that will provide community residents with a location where job seekers can access abbreviated One Stop Career Center services. 31. AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN BUCKEYE OUTREACH FOR SOCIAL SERVICES ACCESS POINT AGREEMENT Approve amendment No. 1 to the non-financial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Buckeye Outreach for Social Services (BOSS), a faith-based organization, and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department. This amendment extends the Agreement for an additional two years, through June 30, 2013. All other terms and conditions of the original agreement remain the same and in full force and effect. Access Points are a network of faith-based and community based organizations that provide residents with a location where job seekers can access abbreviated One Stop Career Center services. As an Access Point, BOSS provides assistance to youth and adult job seekers to access employment-related services to assist them in obtaining employment. This MOU provides a partnership that enables Maricopa County residents that are unable to travel to a One Stop Career Center, the ability to access services through an Access Point that is located in the community.
