103. IGA WITH STATE OF ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE ENERGY OFFICE TO PROVIDE WEATHERIZATION LOW-INCOME ASSISTANCE FUNDED BY THE SOUTHWEST GAS CORPORATION Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between State of Arizona Department of Commerce Energy Office (C053-09-03) and Maricopa County through the Human Services Department, in the not-to-exceed amount of $106,627. This IGA is funded by a grant from State of Arizona Department of Commerce Energy Office. The purpose of this IGA is to provide Weatherization Low-Income Assistance. This IGA is effective from July 1, 2009 until June 30, 2010. Funding for this IGA is provided by a grant from the State of Arizona Department of Commerce Energy Office (C053-09-03). Funding is provided to the Department of Commerce from the Southwest Gas Corporation and will not impact the County general fund budget. The Department of Human Services current negotiated DHHS indirect rate for FY08-09 is 15.2%, while FY 2009-10 is 18.0% (pending negotiation). The total grant funds of $106,627 are directed toward sub-recipient pass-through and are not subject to indirect charges. Therefore, the estimated indirect cost is $0. (C-22-09-172-3-00)
