107. RESOLUTION FOR A WORK EXPERIENCE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT WITH MAXIMUS Adopt a Resolution to approve a Work Experience Acknowledgement with Maximus to have JOBS Program participants work in the Maricopa Workforce Connections One Stop Career Centers. The Jobs Program provides eligible individuals the opportunity to become economically independent through employment by providing a variety of supportive and specialized services to recipients of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). Maximus participants will be provided with opportunities to develop skills that could increase their employment prospects and reduce their welfare dependency. Participants will gain work experience while under the supervision of Maricopa County employees. This resolution shall become effective upon approval of the Board of Supervisors, will remain in force for a two-year period, and will expire June 30, 2011. This Agreement is non-financial. Maximus participants shall be covered under Maximus’ general liability insurance. (C-22-10-006-M-00)
