109. LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH PORTABLE, PRACTICAL, EDUCATIONAL PREPARATION, INC. FOR CO-LOCATION IN THE MARICOPA WORKFORCE CONNECTIONS ONE STOP CAREER CENTER Approve a License Agreement between Portable, Practical, Educational Preparation, Inc. (PPEP) and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department, Maricopa Workforce Connections (MWC). This Agreement allows for PPEP to co-locate in the MWC West Valley One Stop Career Center. The West Valley One Stop Career Center is located at 1840 N. 95th Ave., Phoenix, AZ. This Agreement allows PPEP staff to maintain direct services space within the One Stop Career Center and provides for funding arrangements whereas PPEP will pay on a monthly basis for co-location costs associated with the operation of the One Stop Career Centers. This Agreement is a resource sharing agreement. PPEP will pay $653.42 monthly for West Valley costs associated with the operation of the One Stop Career Centers. This agreement shall be effective upon approval of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and signature by both Parties and will expire on June 30, 2011. Indirect funds do not apply to this agreement since all funds collected under this agreement will be applied to the costs associated with the operation of the One Stop Career Center. There are no County General funds associated with this Agreement. The Facility Review Committee endorsed this agreement on May 28, 2009. (C-22-10-010-3-00)

57. AMENDMENT TO LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH PORTABLE, PRACTICAL, EDUCATIONAL PREPARATION, INC. FOR CO-LOCATION IN THE MARICOPA WORKFORCE CONNECTIONS ONE STOP CAREER CENTER Approve Amendment No. 1 to the License Agreement between Portable, Practical, Educational Preparation, Inc. (PPEP) and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department, Maricopa Workforce Connections (MWC). The Amendment addresses the following items: • Extends the Agreement term for two (2) additional years, from June 30, 2011 to June 30, 2013 • Reduces the directly occupied space from 2 cubicles to 1 • Modifies the monthly co-location costs from $653.42 to $649.96 • Replaces paragraph 14.0 AUDIT language • Attach Exhibit 1 - Guidelines for all partner agencies that are co-located in the Maricopa Workforce Connections One Stop Career Centers; • Attach Exhibit 2 - West Valley One Stop Career Center Operating Costs • Attach Exhibit 3 - Fee Schedule Through this Amendment, PPEP will continue to maintain direct services space within the MWC West Valley One Stop Career Center.
