50. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH TEMPE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT #3 FOR HEAD START FOOD SERVICES Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with Tempe Elementary School District #3 to provide food catering to participants in the Maricopa County Head Start Zero-Five Program. The purpose of this amendment is to increase the total budget amount by $13,532 from $227,509 to $241,041 and to increase the number of Early Head Start sites due to the receipt of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Expansion funds. This amendment does not impact any County General funds. The term of the original agreement remains October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010. These additional ARRA funds allow the Head Start Program to serve 32 additional Early Head Start children at one additional classroom and two Home Base groups. All other terms and conditions of the original agreement remain in full force and effect. (C-22-10-016-3-01)
