66. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH WESTERN MARICOPA EDUCATION CENTER FOR STATE ENERGY SECTOR PARTNERSHIP ACTIVITIES-AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT FUNDS Approve a non-financial amendment to Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with Western Maricopa Education Center (West-MEC) and Maricopa County, administered by its Human Services Department (HSD). The purpose of this amendment is to add American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009 (ARRA) specific language and ARRA reporting requirements in the IGA. The term of this amendment is upon approval and signature by both parties. This IGA provides State Energy Sector Partnership and Training Grant funds through ARRA to West-MEC. Services to be provided under this agreement include provide training in Renewable Energy, Green Technology and Solar Energy to high school students enrolled in career and technical education.
