42. CONTRACT WITH ABIDING SAVIOR COMMUNITY CHURCH FOR DEVELOPMENT OF AN ACCESS POINT Approve the Contract between Abiding Savior Community Church, a faith-based organization and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department to establish Abiding Savior Community Church as an Access Point for purposes of Workforce Development activities. This non-financial contract is effective upon signature by both parties and will expire June 30, 2012. Access Points are a network of faith-based and community based organizations that provide residents with a location where job seekers can access abbreviated One Stop Career Center services. As an Access Point, Abiding Savior Community Church will assist youth and adult job seekers to access employment-related services to assist them in obtaining employment. This Contract will create a partnership enabling Maricopa County residents who are unable to travel to a One Stop Career Center the ability to access services through an Access Point that is located in their community.
