40. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF MARICOPA COUNTY FOR THE ACQUISTION OF A MULTI-FAMILY PROPERTY THROUGH THE NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM Approve Amendment No. 1 to the IGA with the Housing Authority of Maricopa County (HAMC) and Maricopa County through its Human Services Department. The amendment decreases the funding by $279,045.34 from $1,506,670 to $1,227, 624.66 because the HAMC only acquired the property. The amendment thereby completes any County obligation within this agreement. Arizona Housing, Inc. (AHI) agrees to conduct all rehabilitation to the property. The agreement is funded through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), and is effective immediately. Pursuant to the CHANGES clause, page 2, Section F, paragraph 2, Special Provisions, “Change Orders shall not increase or decrease the Operating Budget total without written approval of both Parties.” Maricopa County Human Services Department and the Housing Authority of Maricopa County mutually agree that the stated purpose of the IGA is achieved. The purpose was for the HAMC to acquire the property and transfer it to Arizona Housing Inc. “for the purpose of rehabilitation and management/operation of permanent supportive housing.” (C-22-11-075-3-01)
