58. APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT FOR HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT GRANT BUDGET 1. Approve decrease in the appropriated budget for Human Services (220) Human Services Grants Fund (222) Operating (0000) in the amount of $3,224,712 in revenues and expenditures as identified on the FY11 Grant Summary Worksheet on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Board. The appropriation adjustment brings the Human Services Grant Fund budget to the amount of $53,339,655. 2. Approve decrease in the appropriated budget for Human Services (220) CDBG Housing Trust Fund (217) Operating (0000) in the amount of $5,740,088 in revenues and expenditures as identified on the FY11 Grant Summary Worksheet on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Board. The appropriation adjustment brings the CDBG Housing Trust Fund budget to the amount of $11,240,382. The appropriation adjustments are necessary as the carry forward amounts of prior year grants and award amounts of new grants differ from the amount approved in the FY11 Budget Appropriation. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105.
