44. CONTRACT WITH AREA AGENCY ON AGING REGION ONE INC FOR GRANT FUNDS FOR THE PROVISION OF CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES Approve a revenue contract with the Area Agency on Aging (AAA), Region One, Inc., in the not-to-exceed amount of $1,473,172. The purpose of the contract is to partially fund the Maricopa County Human Services Department’s Senior Adult Independent Living (SAIL) Program which provides Case Management Services to over 4,000 eligible individuals in Maricopa County. The term of this contract begins on July 1, 2011 and ends on June 30, 2012. The Fiscal Year 2012 Human Services Department negotiated U. S. Department of Health and Human Services indirect cost rate is 16.1%. The total grant funds are $1,473,172; of which $9,408 is for capital leases which are not subject to indirect cost recovery. The total estimated indirect cost amount is $202,986. The allowable indirect cost recovery amount is $202,986. The unallowable indirect cost recovery amount is $0. This contract impacts Maricopa County General funds in the amount of $1,198,744, to assist in the provision of SAIL Case Management services which have been appropriated for this purpose. This Agreement does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. The County’s Human Services Department’s Community Services Division will be reimbursed for allowable expenditures under this Agreement. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. (C-22-12-016-3-00)
