35. MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH TALX CORPORATION FOR EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION Approve a non-financial Standard Membership Agreement with TALX Corporation. This Agreement provides Maricopa County Human Services Department, Workforce Development Division staff the ability to verify employment of enrolled Workforce Investment Act participants. This agreement shall be for an annual term, starting on the date of implementation, and shall be automatically renewed for successive one year terms. Maricopa County, exclusive of the City of Phoenix, is a designated Local Workforce Investment Area (LWIA) under the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998. MWC operates two One Stop Career Centers under WIA and as such enrolls individuals into the WIA employment activities. Maricopa County contracts with Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) for delivery of Workforce Investment Act activities. (C-22-12-024-3-00)
