43. CONTRACT WITH CENTRAL ARIZONA SHELTER SERVICES FOR EMERGENCY AND LOW DEMAND SHELTER SERVICES Approve a contract between Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) and Maricopa County, administered by its Human Services Department, Community Services Division, in the not-to-exceed amount of $750,000. The purpose of this contract is to provide funding for CASS’ related shelter and support services to eligible homeless individuals and families. This contract is effective from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. Funding for this contract with CASS is part of the FY 2011-2012 General Fund appropriation for the Department of Human Services.
