47. SALE OF SURPLUS BUS Approve the sale of a 1999 Bluebird Bus which was purchased by the Human Services Department Education Division with an acquisition date of August 31, 1998, through its Head Start grant. This vehicle is no longer being used in providing services to the Head Start program. The bus will be sent to Equipment Services Department to be sold at public auction and proceeds of the sale will be returned to the U.S. Department of Health Services. The sale of this vehicle will result in a net decrease in the County fleet Vehicle # 45901 - 1999 Blue Bird Bus HSD has received approval through the Office of Head Start to dispose of the bus by sale per grant regulations.
