32. ADMINISTRATIVE CORRECTION TO SUBLEASE WITH MAXWELL PRESCHOOL ACADEMY STAPLEY, LLC Approve an administrative correction to the action taken by the Board on July 25, 2012, agenda C-22-12-084-1-00, which approved a sublease agreement (L-7439) with Maxwell Preschool Academy Stapley, LLC. The purpose of this administrative correction is to correct the term length of the sublease which should be August 1, 2012 through December 14, 2014. The lease provides for the rental of one Early Head Start classroom and playground located at Maxwell Preschool, 4970 West Ray Road, Chandler, Arizona. The agreement was approved by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office December 12, 2012, prior to re-execution. The original sublease term was from August 1 through July 31, 2015. The lease between the Lessee and Lessor expires December 14, 2014. (C-22-12-084-1-01)

A-1. LEASE TERMINATION WITH MAXWELL PRESCHOOL ACADEMY CHANDLER, LLC, SUBLESSOR Approve the termination of Lease No. L-7439 with Maxwell Preschool Academy Chandler, LLC, for the Maricopa County Head Start program classroom lease at 4970 W. Ray Road, Chandler, AZ and authorize Real Estate Services staff to give formal notice to the Sublessor of the lease termination. Lease L-7439 allows the County an option to terminate the agreement, without penalty, upon 90-day written notice to Sublessor. The termination will be effective on, or about, August 22, 2014. Termination of this sublease agreement is necessary due to Sublessor not renewing their lease with the Lessor and program not being able to provide continuous services as required by funding agency to the families in this area.
