51. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN OF BUCKEYE FOR FY2012-2013 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) ACTIVITY Approve Amendment No.1 to the Agreement (C-22-12-092-3-00) for the CDBG Program between the Town of Buckeye and Maricopa County through its Human Services Department. The amendment expands the scope of work by adding additional lineal feet of new sidewalk and ADA compliant ramps, adds $31,000 in Town of Buckeye funds to cover the cost of the amended activities, and extends the construction completion date to January 15, 2014. This amendment is effective upon execution and expires upon completion of all CDBG requirements. There is no impact to the General Fund. The agreement (C-22-12-092-3-00) provides Community Development Block Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the purpose of installing ADA compliant sidewalks, curb, and gutter in an existing neighborhood with no sidewalks in the Town of Buckeye.
