19. AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA BOARD OF REGENTS FOR AND ON BEHALF OF ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY TO EVALUATE THE SENIOR ADULT INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM Approve an agreement between Maricopa County, administered by its Human Services Department and the Arizona Board of Regents for and on behalf of Arizona State University in the not-to-exceed amount of $21,293. The term of this agreement is from April 1, 2013 through July 31, 2013. The purpose of this agreement is to evaluate the Maricopa County Senior Adult Independent Living Case Management Program and to identify issues and successful experiences that can be used to strengthen future practices and to improve the effectiveness of the program. Results of the evaluation will be reported to the Human Services Department administrators and relevant personnel at the conclusion of the term of the agreement. Funding for this agreement is from a federal grant provided by the Arizona Department of Economic Security and will not affect the County General Fund. This evaluation will collect and analyze data to determine the efficiency of the SAIL program's process; the scientific merits of the program's performance; the effective of the program's product; and the cost effectiveness of the SAIL program.
