42. AGREEMENT WITH GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF NURSING AND HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONS FOR HEALTH SCREENINGS AND DIAGNOSTIC TESTS Approve a non-financial Agreement between Maricopa County, through its Human Services Department, Education Division, and Grand Canyon University College of Nursing and Health Care Professions (GCU) to establish the terms and conditions for the provision of health screenings and diagnostic testing for participating Head Start children and their families in the East Valley. The agreement is a four year agreement effective July 1, 2013 and through June 30, 2017. Staff from GCU, including GCU Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and support staff will determine health status of Head Start children to ensure that the children have the opportunity to receive age appropriate preventative and primary care services and to obtain additional medical evaluation and treatment, as needed.
