37. AGREEMENT WITH THE LOCKHEED MARTIN CORPORATION FOR WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT ACTIVITIES Approve a non-financial agreement between the Lockheed Martin Corporation and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department Workforce Development Division/Maricopa Workforce Connections. The purpose of the agreement is to provide the opportunity to disclose Proprietary Information in order to complete program delivery. Maricopa Workforce Connections will work with Lockheed Martin to assist with job placement activities, recruitment and job searches for individuals affected by lay-offs and down sizing. Proprietary Information may involve job titles, job descriptions and salary information. All Proprietary Information shall remain highly confidential and shall be limited only to program activities identifies by both parties. The agreement shall be effective upon approval and signature by both parties and shall expire one (1) year after full execution. Workforce Investment activities are funded through an Intergovernmental Agreement with Arizona Department of Economic Security passed through the U.S. Department of Labor Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA).
