46. ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUSTMENT TO THE APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT FOR HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT GRANT Approve an administrative adjustment to the approved appropriated budget for the Human Services Department. The appropriation adjustment for the Human Services Department Grant was approved on January 21, 2015. The administrative adjustment corrects the CDBG Housing Trust Fund (217) budget amount from $17,131,833 to $17,204,787. The administrative adjustment is necessary to reflect the correct amount approved in the Fiscal Year 2014-2015 Budget Appropriation Adjustment. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limit, and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-17105. The indirect cost rate is 18.4% as approved by the Department of Health and Human Services. Most of the grants for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 allow for indirect cost recovery as reflected in the funding agreements. A revised detail of financial impact and grant summary worksheet are attached to be on file with the Clerk of the Board’s Office and retained in accordance with Arizona State Library Archives and Public Records (ASLAPR) approved retention schedule.
