44. AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF GLENDALE Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Glendale, a member of the Maricopa HOME Consortium, and Maricopa County through its Human Services Department in the not-to-exceed amount of $512,309. This agreement is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The purpose of this agreement is to provide HOME funds to the City of Glendale to assist eligible homeowners to rehabilitate their homes to eliminate safety hazards in the house. In addition, the City of Glendale will provide funding for construction or rehabilitation for their infill housing project program to assist first time home buyers. Pursuant to Special Provision G. 18, authorize the Department Director to make administrative changes within the general scope of work that do not increase or decrease the amount of total contract funding. The contract is effective July 1, 2014 and shall expire twenty-four (24) months from the date of full execution. The housing activities shall meet all HOME Investment Partnerships Program requirements for the required period of affordability. There is no impact to the General Fund. (C-22-15-042-3-00)
