44. DATA SHARING AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC SECURITY FOR HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT PROGRAM ACTIVITIES Approve a non-financial Data sharing Agreement between Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) Division of Aging & Adult Services (DAAS) and Maricopa County, administered by its Human Services Department (HSD). The agreement will allow the Community Services Division to communicate with DES/DAAS over the phone and by email concerning client issues. The term of this Agreement is upon approval and signature by both parties and will remain in effect for ten (10) years. Community Services Division (CSD) programs such as Community Service Block Grant (CSBG), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) utility, and Short Term Crisis Services (STCS) / Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) assistance require communication with DES/DAAS dealing with client information to insure appropriate client assistance.
