30. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH GUADALUPE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement between Guadalupe Community Development Corporation (GCDC) and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Amendment is to extend the agreement term from May 26, 2017 to December 31, 2018. Extending the agreement will provide GCDC with additional time to complete the previously approved Work Statement. The Agreement is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). There is no impact to the General Fund. The purpose of the agreement is for GCDC to construct four (4) single family homes for purchase by low-income eligible home buyers in the Town of Guadalupe. The extension will allow GCDC to complete the project approved by the HOME Investment Partnerships Program Consortium and approved by the Board of Supervisors on April 22, 2015. The housing activities meet all HOME Investment Partnerships Program requirements for the required period of affordability. Maricopa County is the lead agency for the Maricopa HOME Consortium. The Board of Supervisors approved the Agreement (C-22-15-057-00) with GCDC on April 22, 2015. (C-22-15-057-3-01)
