44. ADDITION OF VEHICLES TO FLEET Approve a one-time addition of two (2) vehicles to the Human Services Department fleet, for the Early Education Division, and authorize the transfer of titles from Catholic Charities Community Services Inc. to Maricopa County. 1) - 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan 2) - 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan The vehicles were purchased by Catholic Charities Community Services Inc., a Contractor (C-22-15-069-3-00) for the Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership Grant (EHS-CCP) from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services/Administration for Children and Families/Office of Head Start awarded to Maricopa County (C-22-15-036-G-00) on January 2015. The Contract with Catholic Charities will terminate on June 30, 2016. EHS-CCP program activities will be conducted by the Maricopa County Early Education Division. The program will utilize the vehicles for completion of program activities. Upon approval of this item, Catholic Charities will provide the vehicles and the titles to the County. The operational costs of the vehicles will be funded through the Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership Grant (C-22-15-036-G-00). This item will not impact the County’s General Fund. The Human Services Department administers the Early Head Start Child Care Partnership grant. The vehicles will be used by program staff to oversee the grant activities, such as monitoring the contracted Child Care Centers and meeting with participant families. (C-22-16-050-V-00)
