A-5. CONTRACT WITH AREA AGENCY ON AGING, REGION ONE INC. Approve a financial Contract for services (“Agreement”) with Area Agency on Aging, Region One, Inc., and Maricopa County administered by it Human Services Department. The purpose of the Contract is for the County to facilitate case management services and coordinate services to assist eligible seniors and adults with disabilities to maintain independence and avoid institutional placement, while complementing caregiver support. The contract amount is $1,473,172 for the contract term that begins on July 1, 2016 and ends June 30, 2017. The Fiscal Year 2017 Human Services Department approved U.S. Department of Health and Human Services indirect cost rate is 20.40% of salaries and employee related expenses. The total grant funds are $1,473,172 of which $1,152,217 is personnel costs. The total estimated recoverable indirect cost amount is $235,052, with $0.00 being unrecoverable. The approval of this agreement does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate any increase or decrease. This contract impacts Maricopa County General Funds in the amount of $1,198,744, to assist in the provision of services to program participants. (C-22-16-040-3-00)
