A-2. LEGAL DOCUMENTS TEMPLATES Authorize the Department to use the attached legal documents or substantially similar documents as templates to carry out activities to implement grant agreements funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) which were previously authorized for acceptance by the Board of Supervisors. Also authorize the Chairman to sign such legal documents as required to implement grant agreements funded by HUD, after review and approval by legal counsel. Program activities may include all Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), and other previously funded HUD programs activities regardless of source funding, for all program years. The legal document templates include: • Subordination Agreement • Development Agreement • Deed of Release and Reconveyance • Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions • Deed of Trust: Purchase; Rental Property-no HOA; MCHIP HOME • Promissory Note The approval of the templates and authorization of the Chairman to sign legal documents will allow staff to process requests for the Chairman’s signature, without impeding real estate transactions associated with HUD funding agreements already authorized and accepted by the Board of Supervisors.
