66. CONTRACT WITH AREA AGENCY ON AGING, REGION ONE INC. Approve a financial Contract for services (“Agreement”) with Area Agency on Aging, Region One, Inc., and Maricopa County administered by it Human Services Department. The purpose of the Contract is for the County to provide case management and coordinate services to assist eligible seniors and adults with disabilities to maintain independence and avoid institutional placement, while complementing caregiver support. The Contract is retroactive to July 1, 2017. The funding amount is $1,373,172 for the contract term beginning on July 1, 2017 and ending on June 30, 2018. The proposed Fiscal Year 2018 indirect cost rate for the Human Services Department from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is 20.40% of salaries and employee related expenses. The total grant funds are $1,373,172 of which $1,109,867 is personnel costs. The total estimated recoverable indirect cost amount is $226,413, with $0.00 being unrecoverable. Once approved, the indirect cost rate shall be retro-active to July 1, 2017. The approval of this Agreement does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate any increase or decrease. This Agreement does impact the Maricopa County General Funds in the amount of $1,198,745, to assist in the provision of services to program participants. Supervisor District: All (C-22-18-001-3-00)
