48. RESCIND ACTION AND REPLACE REVISED AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH A.R.M. OF SAVE THE FAMILY FOUNDATION OF ARIZONA AND THE CITY OF CHANDLER FOR HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS ACTIVITIES Rescind the action taken by the Board of Supervisors on July 14, 2021 to approve Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement among Affordable Rental Movement (A.R.M.) of Save the Family Foundation of Arizona, a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), City of Chandler (Administrator) and Maricopa County, administered by its Human Services Department. Amendment No. 2 approved on July 14, 2021 had the wrong date referenced for the term of Amendment No 1 and did not contain an extension term for the Agreement . Approval of the revised Amendment No. 2 will address the following: A. Extend the termination of the Agreement from September 30, 2023 through September 30, 2024. B. Add an additional Work Statement (“2020 Work Statement”) for the CHDO to acquire, rehabilitate, and rent an additional single-family home for its scattered-site rental program. The expenditure term for the 2020 Work Statement shall expire on September 30, 2024. C. The County shall provide the CHDO and the Administrator with funding for the 2020 Work Statement in an amount not-to-exceed $208,913. D. Revise Section I (General Provisions) to add the following paragraphs: 55.0 WRITTEN CERTIFICATION UNDER A.R.S. § 35-393.01 56.0 SURVIVAL E. Revise Section II (Special Provisions), Paragraph 21.0 (General Conditions), Subparagraph 21.4, by addressing the approval process for Administrative Change orders and Addenda. F. Revise Section IV (Compensation) in the following paragraphs: Paragraph 3.0 (Timeliness), by addressing the invoice process. Paragraph 4.0 (Reimbursement), by replacing the funding total not to exceed $673,913. Funding for Amendment No. 2 is provided by U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME)) funds in the amount not-to-exceed $208,913. The Agreement is amended to incorporate the changes contained in this Amendment No. 2. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement and previously approved Amendments shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect as executed by the Parties.
