30. AFFILIATION AGREEMENT WITH AUBURN UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OF HUMAN SCIENCES Approve a non-financial Affiliation Agreement (Agreement) with Auburn University, College of Human Sciences, Auburn, AL (referred to as “AU”) and Maricopa County (referred to as the “Agency”) administered by the Human Services Department, Early Education Division – Head Start program. This Agreement shall apply only to interns duly registered in the Auburn University Department of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Hospitality Management. Through this Agreement, the County shall provide dietetic practice and learning opportunities, including observational opportunities, in the client care areas and other areas of the Agency. This agreement shall be effective for the period commencing June 1, 2019 and ending August 31, 2028. AU interns shall be provided with learning opportunities under the Head Start program services, such as site visits to classrooms and provide nutritional education information to children and families. Approval of this item will not impact the County General Fund. Supervisory District: All (C-22-19-027-3-00)
